These are the foundational measurements. Floor Area is Length × Width. Wall Area is the room's perimeter × height, essential for paint or drywall estimates. Room Volume is Floor Area × height, critical for HVAC sizing.
Space Utilization
Not all floor space is usable. We calculate Usable Area (for furniture) and Circulation Area (for movement) based on the occupancy type, giving you a realistic measure of a room's functional capacity.
